smiles in the sunshine

when i look out the window
and peer into the dark
it makes me think
of my friend with the broken heart
since her trears have dried
and her heart is on the mend
because she read the last poem
from begining to end
now i wait for the clouds to part
and the sun to shine through
since she knows that shes got friends
to see her through

shes got a smile so bright
and a laugh thats so angelic
that it calms the kayos
every time i hear it
and i know i said something stupid
when she gives me that look
and the only word she says is " Papibear"
and i gotta find a way to get off the hook

i could type for days about her and how great she is
and how her smile stops time
but i gotta count the hours
until i see smiles in the sunshine

A Poem for a Broken Heart

This one is not for me
but for a friend whos pain i can see
In her eyes all I see is a heart that is broken in two
I just wish there was something i could do
to stop the tears from falling down that beautiful face
and leave that sadness behind without a trace
her smile could light up an entire room
but anger her and Kayos will bring you certain doom
because she is a friend that deserves to be happy
and i will do what i can to bring this to light
anyoine who disrupts this is in for a fight
once she reads this i hope that it will start
to repair this lovely angels broken heart

if someone knows about a broken heart.....its me
because there is only Kayos where my heart use to be
many times i thought i found love's warm embrace
just to have it spit back right in my face
so Christiebear this ones is for you
because i know exactly the pain your going through
i know that when you smile now its just to hide the pain
all of which i wish i could change
but this is something we all feel sometimes
but i know that someday you will be fine
and the man who u pick will have the honor of having you by his side
and anybody who missed out can only stand by
so worry not because I'll always be here

Poem for Ipod and Gizmo

This is a poem about the crew
For the girls who share in everything we do
From Black Ops at 1 AM with Gizmo
to watching Ipod take my sketchbook to leave her mark tho

Gizmo's the one that always tells us when we do something crazy
Quick to remind us what we did when our mind is hazy
From dropping napalm during combat training
to killing zombies "i hope im Buffy" shes always saying
no matter how bad thing get for me at work or at play
hearing " Hi Huggybear" always make my day

I started gave Ipod her nickname and it stuck
no matter what song comes on, she knows it as soon as the first chord is struck
The drawings that flow out of her pen are things of great talent
even without a pen her skills are never absent
be it paint, ink or online
her drawings tend to stop time

Now that I've told you the amazing things they do
you now know why they are crew
there is something else i can say
that the boys and I have thier back all day every day
no matter the distance, situation or weather
we will all be crew Forever!!!!!!!!!

ok it's 4AM and i dont know why but i was composing this on the drive home today and since I havent written on this blog in a while i figured it had to be done.

For Lala and Mookie

Ok so im a few days away from another semester of college....so many things to do, only a few days left. It's been a little stressful lately but if you know mw, then you know i dont keep it around. Im really happy for my friend Lala, who btw is a amazing opera singer (I have to make a show and keep my promise) She's been busting her ass with all the music things that have been going on. So I thought that i would say publicly - Keep it going Lala, everybodys really proud of you and what you have accomplished. See....i can be nice, sometimes....anyways i have to keep this one short because i'm in the middle of doing things. I just had to say these things. and to the rest of my crew, WHERE THE HELL ARE YA????? it's weird not having somebody around me all week. Except for when Mookie showed up to brainstorm about some of her amazing stories. Its great that i have friends with major talent, it makes me feel smarter when they're around. Snowed in....AGAIN!!!!

Greetings from somewhere deep inside my mind. Let me start of by wishing all my readers Happy New Year. I must say that this year didn't start off well, I lost a dear friend. R.I.P Frank L. You will be missed. On a lighter note, the crew got together again for New Years, and even if I didn't see some of them for as long as i wanted it was still great to chill with them once again (yeah mookie, I'm talking about you). Everybody asked me what my resolution is.......i haven't figured it out yet. Ask me again when its warmer. Also people have asked that I post another poem, which will happen real soon but i will leave it up to you guys out there on the web to suggest a topic. I will consider them all and write about the one i like most. So think of some good ones people. It has snowed AGAIN, I know it's winter but i cant stand the snow. I'm OK with flurries, but i hate snow. Whoever invented snow needs to have a lobotomy. Even if it gives me a chance to catch up on this blog, I'm still bored!!!!!! I  cant wait for spring and the chance to go back to the stadium again. (this is where i decide which of my crew to take this year. Ahhhh who am i kidding,only 3 people besides me are BIG Yankees fans) well I need to go shovel out my car so until next time people.....

post christmas/pre-new year updates

Guess who's back!!!!!!!!! After a holiday, 2 feet of snow  and a couple of days hanging with the crew, i got 3 days to rest before i hit the city again to do what i do best. Hope my readers had an epic Christmas. Im on Dvd overload right now, I got like 10 dvds to watch (thanks mom). Guess i know what i will be doing for this rest period. I just gotta say it was really cool to have the whole crew together for dinner and games. Also had a great dinner last night at my boy Pat's house. I actually got to eat at a dining table for the first time in a while. Well i guess i'll keep this one short but i still say that whoever invented blizzards needs to be punched in the face. UPDATES!!!!

Ok so i havent been able to post anything in a while. It's been a busy couple of weeks. With Christmas only a couple days away theres been alot that has gotten done. Well to start i came home yesterday to find a big tree smack in the middle of my apt. (which my mother came through like a hurricane and plowed all my mess out. Now i can see the floor. Thanks mom.) it seems like i was tricked into going out with my friend nicknamed ipod while pat and brian set up a BIG tree in my living room. My reaction was so funny that it got posted on youtube. I am a star AGAIN!!!!
